What's nice about it is that it provides warmth without that bulky feel that boys hate. The fabric is also very waterproof, and the hood is helmet-compatible so when it starts to snow he can pull it right up over his helmet. The Volcom Impact Jacket has extendable cuffs, so when he grows you can squeeze in another season's wear.
