"Good question. Glove measurements can be tough. These gloves are really cute...a medium is going to be a hand circumference of 6.5 inches to 7.5 inches. A large is an inch more than that. The length is meant to fit just over the wrist. It is not a long glove. The pretty lining is meant to show a bit. "

Beautifully made, just like other UGG products. Medium size may be a little more snug than other brands, but they keep my wife's hands warm, which is what we wanted.
