Thor Lo is such a great brand for kids and adults. Try to size the socks as close to the actual shoe size as possible. In this case, I would recommend a size 5 in socks that have a specific size.

With Thor Lo, the sizing is meant to fit very exact. Consider purchasing the socks in the same size as the child's shoes.

The size 7 sock fits kids with shoe size between 10-13, the size 9 fits shoe sizes 13.5 - 4.

I would like to buy socks for my 18 month old (he is big, more like a 2 year old in all clothes sizes). He has fat little feet and is in Toddler size 6 in his sneakers. Are the shoe sizes on the chart for Toddler or Youth shoe sizes? Is there any sock you sell that will fit him?

The smallest size we have on these socks are size 10 (~6.2 inches). TheSmartWool Wintersport Pattern Ski Sock we have in size 8 (XS) (~5.5 inches) which is the smallest sock we have available.

It depends on what their shoe sizes are. Most of our kids socks, like this one, are for kids ages 8 and up. The smallest sock that we carry is the SmartWool Wintersport sock. According to the Smartwool size chart for that particular sock, a size small fits kids shoe sizes 9-11.5, a size medium fits kids shoe sizes 12-2.5.
