If you've ever had a ski boot that has that one spot that just always hurts no matter what you do, then it's time to upgrade to the Tecnica Viva Max 10 Air Shell Ski Boot. This women's boot uses an inflatable air bladder to dial in the fit in a way that supports the specific anatomy of your foot without painful pressure points. By trapping this extra air around your foot, you also get added warmth where it really counts. The flex on the Tecnica Viva Max 10 is on the middle to stiffer side so women who want extra support in their ski boots are sure to get what they need.

  • Flex Rating: 80-90
  • Last: 98-102mm (AA - D widths)
  • Liner: Women-specific 3D UltraFit

  • Air Shell System adds a comfortable, custom fit

  • 3D Flared Collar for increased calf space if needed
  • Removable heel cradle offers extra hold and reduces volume

"The Tecnica Viva Max 10 Air Shell Ski Boot is a great choice due to it's adjustable flex rating. An 80 flex rating is for a solid intermediate skier. This boot would also allow you to increase the flex rating as your skill improved."

"I've been told that I can wear a size 23 or 23.5 (shoe size 6.5) because the shell of the boot is the same, only the liner would be different in the two sizes. Is this correct? If I use the air liner can I compensate if I buy the boot in a 23.5 because size 23 is not available?"

Question by basaltmtngirl on 11/22/2011 - 11:32 pm
"You are correct. The only difference between the 23 and the 23.5 is the liner. The liner for the 23.5 is thinner which allows for more foot space. "

"What boot do u recommend for an advanced woman skier with a larger calf? Medium width, with a fairly stiff flex. A size 25.5.."
