Question by MikeH on 3/16/2011 - 9:58 am
A:
"The main difference will be the waterproof/breathability ratings and also the style. As far as technical aspects the best one is the Monterosa or Monterosa 100. It comes with the highest insulation (Monterosa 80g, Monterosa 100 has 100g ) and waterproof/breathability ratings, it also has plenty of specialized pockets."

I walked to work this morning in single degree temps and ripping winds and was very warm. I bought this coat because I didn't want a coat that shouted SKI JACKET with lots of pattern and different colors (the red on the pockets is actually very subtle). It would be nice if the cuff liners that extend over your thumb were removable, but not a huge deal. The collar is typical of this type of jacket and is a bit annoying when you're wearing it open because it is very tall, but I assume it will get more flexible and relaxed over time.
