    Q:
"What is the difference between ski and snowboard pants?"
    2 Answers | Answer Question
    Question by jakes47 on 5/24/2012 - 8:14 am
    A:
"Great question! A ski pant tends to be more fitted and a little bit shorter than a snowboard pant so that it does not interfere with the binding. A snowboard pant has a baggier fit, they usually have cargo pockets, and they scrunch up a bit more near the ankle. However, both ski and snowboard brands are crossing over into the other and making select pants that could be suited for either activity."
Answer by Sarah (Peter Glenn Staff) on 5/24/2012 - 8:46 am
    A:
"In addition, most snowboard pants are not insulated whereas generally most ski pants do have some type of insulation. As stated above, you can use either type of pant for any activity. You don't have to use a ski pant exclusively for skiing. "
