Looking for 'normal' fitting pants. Does this Spyder model sit at the normal waist and are they designed to look like I can't afford proper fitting clothes, (too baggy)? Thanks.

As a ski pant, this is definitely not as bulky as they come. If you want other slim options, look at: Fire and Ice Serin Insulated Ski Pants or Bogner Rik-T Insulated Ski Pant.

What is the difference between ski and snowboard pants?
Question by jakes47
5/24/2012 - 8:14 am
Great question! A ski pant tends to be more fitted and a little bit shorter than a snowboard pant so that it does not interfere with the binding. A snowboard pant has a baggier fit, they usually have cargo pockets, and they scrunch up a bit more near the ankle. However, both ski and snowboard brands are crossing over into the other and making select pants that could be suited for either activity.

In addition, most snowboard pants are not insulated whereas generally most ski pants do have some type of insulation. As stated above, you can use either type of pant for any activity. You don't have to use a ski pant exclusively for skiing.
