"For a 12 year old girl she is right in the middle of a size Medium and a Large. If you think she will stay on the smaller side for a while then you can go with the medium, however, with the large she would be able to wear it for a longer period of time. "

"My 17 yr daughter is 152 cms, 35 chest. Waist 30, hip 35. Would XXL be the right size for her? Can this be worn as a mid layer for skiing in -10 temperatures?"

"It would be prefect for a mid-layer! It is very warm and will definitely keep her happy outside. The XXL might fit her. I would recommend going to a women's size because although this jacket might work for her now, she won't be able to wear for very long because she will grow out of it."
