Hi. I'm shopping for ski pants for my wife. She's 5'1" and 120lbs. I'm looking at Spyder Thrill pants (size 6). Any thoughts on if these would work for her shorter legs? Thanks-

Take a look at the inseam length on the sizing chart. That is going to be the most accurate way. Also keep in mind that with ski boots on she'll get an extra few inches of lift that might help keep the cuffs off the ground.

The look on this pant is fantastic. It fits on the mid waist and has two back pockets (like jeans).

How does the 40g PrimaLoft Sport Insulation compare to the 60g Thinsulate or Thermaweb insulation?

PrimaLoft is very similar to Spyders own brand of insulation which is the Thermaweb insulation. Both of these insulations are very low profile, meaning you do not need as much of it to get the same amount of warmth that you will get from 60g of Thinsulate insulation. Other generic insulations will need even more weight (100g) to get this same amount of warmth.
