Spyder brought back the always-popular Recluse Systems Ski Jacket in a new print and bright color to make your style more unique. The Recluse is a 3-in-1 system jacket, so you get a waterproof/ breathable shell as well as a removable fleece liner jacket that can also be worn on its own in warmer temps. The Recluse is longer than most of the other Spyder jackets, so you get a little extra protection from cold chairlifts.

Hi I have a question about this jacket, the black and white patterned one. Is the white a true or an off white. You have a pair of Obermeiyer (sp?) ski pants called 'marshmellow' that the comment say it is an off white and I want to know if they would match this jacket. Thanks

The white on this one is bright or true white and this is a color really easy to match, however matching with another brand could be quite tricky since hey might use different shades or tones of colors. It is definitely better to mix and match within the same brand.

The size for this jacket is S,M,L the sizing chart show 2 sizes for each e.g. for M , there is size 8 and 10, there are quite some difference between 8 and 10, so what is M size for this jacket closer to ?

The sizing chart shows the range in which this jacket will fit. The jacket will fit both 8 and 10 comfortably. There is not really a size that this jackets fit closer too, but typically Spyder jackets tend run small. They have a great sizing chart that gives detailed measurements, just follow that and you will have a nice fit.

Love my Jacket!

I received my jacket Thursday and quickly hit the slopes Saturday evening in single digit temperatures (~5 degrees) to really test out the jacket's warmth. Even though my nose was cold, my torso was not! The thin layers did a great job of keeping my body warm without weighing me down. The slim fit is ideal for women on the slopes who want warmth without the bulk. The jacket is feminine without being too "girly" and fits just right.

I especially enjoyed the removable fleece "liner" which is really a separate fleece jacket inside with a white Spyder logo embroidered on the chest that can be worn by itself for indoor lounging between runs. The outer shell jacket can be removed with the fleece or separately leaving you an attractive black fleece underneath. I'm hoping for spring skiing later in the season that the outer shell will be great for keeping out moisture but not to heavy for the warmer months of skiing. Both the fleece and the outer shell have multiple inside pockets (which I used for my phone and a two-way radio).

I love this jacket and would highly recommend it! Can't wait to use it again this weekend.
