The best thing about the Spyder Project Ski Jacket is its low-profile design. This winter jacket can keep you warm like the best of them, but it uses light PrimaLoft® insulation that's so thermally efficient you don't need hardly any bulk. The cut on the Project Jacket accentuates and flatters so it's a cute ski jacket for women, and Spyder added laser-cut slash details for a little bit of shine.

How warm is the women's Spyder Project Insulated Ski Jacket. When I compare the insulation, (60g vs 100g), am I comparing apples to apples? Or does the type of insulation, e.g. PrimaLoft, make a real difference?

PrimaLoft is one of the highest quality synthetic insulation, so if 2 jackets have the same grams of insulation one has PrimaLoft and the other Thinsulate then the PrimaLoft would be warmer. However every manufacturer has their own version of synthetic insulation like ThermaWeb™(spyder), comforMax® (Obermeyer) Heatseeker™(NorthFace) etc, We are not able to compare them in terms of performance but they all do a great job at keeping you warm.

This jacket does have a feminine fit to it. It is made with a stretch polyester Xt.L™ fabric so it will move with you and hug you in all of the right places. You should also check out the Spyder Diamond Insulated Ski Jacket!

Hi. I am usually wearing size S for jackets. Could you recommend if I should go with size 4 or 6 (I am 5'7" tall and about 135lbs). Thank you

Spyder does run a bit smaller than other brands do. If you refer to the sizing chart located to the right of the photo, you can match up your measurements to their sizes. I would probably recommend the 6 for you. Usually a 4 is an XS.
