The Spyder Monterosa Insulated Ski Jacket is pro skier Tommy Moe's choice for form and function. This is one of the most technical jackets that Spyder makes so you can count on it in the worst weather. Spyder's OSMO laminate provides exceptional breathability which ensures that you won't get clammy on the ascent. It also provides top-notch waterproofing for any kind of conditions. Tommy can't do his best skiing if he feels restricted, so Spyder used stretch fabric and low-profile PrimaLoft insulation for the ultimate in mobility. When you put the Spyder Monterosa Jacket on you'll be blown away by how comfortable you feel.

"what is the differences between the monterosa and the pinnacle"

Question by ron feast on 9/16/2013 - 5:47 am
""We have provided all of the Specs and Features for both jackets so that you can check out the similarities and differences. For these two jackets, there aren't many differences. They both have the same amount of insulation, they are both waterproof, breathable and both have the RECCO Rescue system. They are also both fully taped (making it fully waterproof). The Pinnacle does have a bit more decorative panels on it (different color areas of fabric, etc) and when you have to waterproof and fully tape a garment, the more panels the garment has, means it has more seams which means it takes a lot more to "tape" and fully secure all of those seams. This can cause a jacket with more seams, like the Pinnacle, to be higher in price than the Monterosa. ""

"Is the core venting the same on the Monterosa as it is on the pinnacle? I tend to sweat when I ski and find layers do not vent well at all. Is the Monterosa more or less warm than the pinnacle? What temperature range is each one of these good for"

"The core venting is the same on both as is the warmth level as they both have the exact same amount of insulation in them. Spyder does not temperature rate their jackets, so a temp rating does not exists for either jacket."

"Looking for a black spyder matching pants for the Monterosa all black jacket"

Question by Raf on 5/7/2014 - 10:01 pm
"The best pant to match this jacket would be the Spyder Bormio Insulated Ski Pant, however, we no longer have the black color in stock. I would also recommend the Spyder Norwand Shell Ski Pant for you as a alternate. You could also checkout the Spyder Davos Pant which we do not have in stock."
