Please could you tell me what temperature can resist this Jacket?

Most apparel is not temperature rated as it depends on so many different things (winter conditions can change radically from day to day). This jacket has 160g of insulation, which is really good. The most we usually see is approx 200g. This is a great option for an all around winter item, and during the coldest months, you would want to pair it with a base layer, like the Hot Chillys Pepper Thermal Top and a mid layer, like the Polarmax Heavyweight Zip Top! This will comfortably get your tot through the winter, as you can add and remove those layers as needed!

Gifting to my 5 year-old nephew...typical size recommendation for that age for an average-sized boy; same for 7 year old girl

These jackets are sized by age. A size 5 would be for a 5 year old. You can also refer to the sizing chart located to the right of the photo. You can match up the measurements of your nephew to insure you get the correct size!
