I just bought a Spyder Mini Guard jacket for my grandson. Is it washable? Are the washing instructions on the inside of the jacket? Can't believe I forgot to check that. Thanks

These jackets are definitely washable. There are instructions on the inside of the jacket. Be sure to follow them closely for the best results.

Your site says it's 5k waterproof but Spyder site says 10k waterproof. which is correct?

Our website does show correct. There is different versions of this jacket for different age ranges. For our toddler sizes, I verified from the tags on the jacket, that there is a 5k waterproofing.

How does ThermaWeb compare to Permaloft? Spyder seems to be using 160 ThermaWeb insulation, while Obermeyer uses 240 Permaloft insulation. Which is warmer? Which is less bulky?

The higher number the warmer it will be, also it will be more bulky, Either way 160 and 240 is a lot of insulation. Have in mind that the waterproof/breathability ratings are as important as the insulation to keep you warm.

A kids size 16 is generally for boys that are around 16yrs of age. This jacket is for toddlers, not for teenagers.
