Every year parents scoop up the Spyder Mini Cubby Mitten; that's probably because it makes their lives easier. This toddler's mitten keeps little fingers warm and dry, and with a long velcro section that opens up a huge portion of the glove, getting them on and off squirmy fingers a thousand times is a breeze.

  • Durable polyester dobby Xt.L™ fabric
  • Spylon™ DWR keeps water from getting to the fabric
  • 160g ThermaWeb™ insulation
  • Mitten style keeps fingers warmer than gloves
  • Hook for attaching to jacket to prevent lost mittens
  • Grippy polyurethane palm
  • Adjustable wrist strap to keep out snow
  • Long velcro section on side for easy on/ off

A:
"To find out your glove size, measure (in inches) around your hand with a tape measure across your palm. Then just refer to the sizing chart on this page, looking at the Kyds and Minis Glove Sizes."

Q:
"My son will be 6 1/2 next ski season. He currently has this mitten in a M. What would you recommend for next season -- this mitten in a larger size or jumping to a glove?"

Question by Kara on 3/17/2013 - 7:59 pm
A:
"I would ask him if he wants a glove or if he is OK with another mitten. The mitten will be warmer as the fingers are kept together, but it's not like he will be cold with a glove on. Most kids gloves are insulated so he will still be warm. If you are looking at toddler gloves/mittens, then you can try the size large for next season."
