Yes, there is a big Spyder logo & brand name on the front of the jacket. It's easier to see if you click on one of the other colors (red or alpine).

This is going to be one of the warmest Spyder jackets we have. The most insulation you will find is 200g which is mostly only in the suits. This has 160g to keep your child super warm.

You can also check out adding the Spyder Mini Bugs on Bugs Cotton Turtleneck (style 115486) as a mid layer for extra warmth. On the warmer/sunnier days during the winter you can just leave him in the jacket alone.

Does the Mini Challenger have the internal powder skirt like the Challenger in larger sizes does (boys)?

This jacket does not have a powder skirt. However, it does have an internal drawcord at the hem for extra protection against wayward powder!
