Unfortunately, we do not have that color in stock at this time. You should check out the Spyder Monterosa 100 Insulated Ski Jacket which is very similar!

Unfortunately, this jacket does not have the extra pockets on the back. I checked out a couple of our other Spyder jackets and none of them have that back pocket on them.

I'm am trying to decide which Spyder Jacket to purchase. The leader or the bromont. I want to know it the extra $200 is worth the Bromont. I tried on both and liked them both, but I liked the bromont a bit more. Its just pretty explensive, and I snowboard only a hand full of times throughout the year, maybe 10. Any advice?
Question by Sean O
12/31/2011 - 1:47 pm
The difference is in the materials chosen for each jacket. The Bromont has Primaloft a higher quality insulation and OSMO® technology that is equivalent to a 20,000 waterproof rating. While the Leader has Thinsulate as insulation and Xt.L™ fabric which is a waterproof laminate.

Excellent Jacket, but not Gore-Tex like before

I own several Spyder Jackets, including two Spyder Leader Jackets. The older version had a Gore-Tex shell, and feels more durable. The 2012 version fits a little smaller. It's nevertheless very warm and fully waterproof. Objectively, I think this is an excellent jacket, but the older versions just seemed better.
