Q:
"What's the difference between the Athletic fit and the Tailored fit for Spyder pants?"
2 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Ally on 11/28/2014 - 11:18 am
A:
"The Athletic fit will be more relaxed, the tailored fit is more slim fitted. "
Answer by Sarah (Peter Glenn Staff) on 11/28/2014 - 4:31 pm
A:
"The athletic fit is more relaxed than the tailored fit. The tailored fit will sit closer to the body. "
Answer by Kacy (Peter Glenn Staff) on 11/28/2014 - 4:31 pm
Q:
"The 12 Regular fits well but it is too long. If I get a petit should I get a 14?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Minnesota Don on 12/13/2014 - 5:59 pm
A:
"No, the petite version will simply give you a shorter length. You should still be the same size."
Answer by Martha (Peter Glenn Staff) on 12/14/2014 - 4:48 pm
Q:
"I am 5'1" 130lbs. I wear a size 9-10 jeans. What size would you suggest for me. I also do not like the baggy look."
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Melinda on 12/15/2014 - 5:09 pm
A:
"Those are a "relaxed" fit so even though not baggy per say, they are not considered a "slim" fit. They are beautiful & very feminine nevertheless. Regarding the size, the best option when you order online is to follow the size chart recommendation which will have you measure your waist, hips and length of legs. Hope this helps."
Answer by Valerie R. (Peter Glenn Staff) on 12/15/2014 - 7:20 pm
Q:
"Can you tell me the difference between the length of the inseam on a size 10 reg vs a size 10 short for the spyder winner athletic pant?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Rebecca on 12/28/2014 - 2:29 pm
A:
"The difference on an inseam from a Regular to Short is going to be 1.5". The inseam on a regular size 10 is 31", so the short inseam will measure 29.5"."
Answer by Kacy (Peter Glenn Staff) on 12/28/2014 - 2:34 pm
Q:
"Hi! If I am 4'10" and weigh 103 lb, would a petite still likely be too long on me? What size would you recommend - 2 or 4? Thank you!"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by ALK on 1/8/2015 - 5:48 pm
A:
"The petite is going to have an inseam of about 29". We have a size chart listed to help you choose the correct size based off of your waist & hip measurements. If that inseam is too big, you may want to check out the kids ski pants as they will run shorter (and you may even save some money!)."
Answer by Martha (Peter Glenn Staff) on 1/14/2015 - 12:59 pm
Q:
"According to the size chart, I should order these pants 3 sizes bigger than I would wear in regular pants. Do the pants run extremely small as compared to regular pants? "
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Shannon on 1/13/2015 - 11:10 pm
A:
"I've never heard of someone needing to go up 3 sizes. Sometimes one size, very rarely even two. You may want to try some Spyder styles on in a local store to see what size may be the best fit. "
Answer by Sarah (Peter Glenn Staff) on 1/14/2015 - 11:01 am
Q:
"Are these pants stretchy??"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Anita on 1/29/2015 - 2:20 pm
A:
"Yes, there is a bit of stretch as the fabric is the Polyester stretch twill fabric"
Answer by Martha (Peter Glenn Staff) on 1/30/2015 - 3:53 pm
Q:
"I am a fit 5'3" and 135 pounds with more muscular legs and booty, so typical petites are too short in the stride for me. Would these being an "athletic cut" work? Thanks!"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Amy on 2/7/2015 - 10:31 am
A:
"The Athletic cut would work for the way it fits, but for length, it sounds like you need regular lengths and not petite."
Answer by Martha (Peter Glenn Staff) on 2/10/2015 - 3:00 pm
Q:
"Hi, I am 5 foot 5 and about 120 pounds. I would like a slimmer fit. My jeans are usually a size 28 or 6/4. What size do you suggest I order?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by LTO on 2/17/2015 - 11:31 am
A:
"Sizing is not based off of height and weight so it's best if you check out the size chart to see what size would fit you best. Ski clothing can fit snug, so we do suggest to size up when in doubt."
