how does this jacket compare to North Face's Khumbu jacket

The Spyder Core is more of a sweater to wear as a light sweater over clothes or as insulation in a Spyder shell jacket. The North Face Khumbu is a little heavier and has more wind protection.

I have never worn Spyder gear before. Does their sizing tend to run small? I have a similar type jacket from Eddie Bauer in large.

Spyder does run small. it is recommended to size up.
