As one of the most technically-advanced jackets Spyder makes, the Garmisch Insulated Ski Jacket is built for tough conditions. If snow is dumping from the sky, the Garmish's 20K waterproofing, Spylon™ DWR, and fully-taped seams will keep you dry. When you're working hard to navigate a tree line or hike to fresh terrain, core vents and OSMO®'s 30K breathability will ensure that sweat can't build up and ruin your comfort. And when you pick a sketchy line that requires a little extra maneuvering, the low-pro PrimaLoft insulation and stretch fabric will ensure you can bend, twist, and reach without restriction.

Specs:

  • Fabric Rating: 20K Waterproof / 30K Breathable
  • Shell Material: 360° stretch nylon/elastane fabric with OSMO laminate
  • Lining Material: Steel stretch nylon lining
  • Insulation: 60g PrimaLoft One insulation
  • Length: Center back measures 28"

  • Bemis anti-abrasion overlay for durability
  • Stretch interior and exterior provide extra mobility
  • Waterproof hand pocket zippers keep contents dry
  • 2 zippered hand pockets keep fingers warm
  • 2 zippered chest pockets hold gear
  • Zippered data card pocket on sleeve holds lift pass

Best coat ever, just buy one size up!   Rated: 5/5

This is by far the best ski jacket I have ever owned. It's thin and light-weight but that primaloft insulation keeps you nice and warm without all the bulk that a lot of other warm winter coats have. Water just beads off the spylon coating and the wind doesn't penetrate it either (It has been as cold as -35 celsius with some brutal wind where I live, and I barely notice in this coat). Lastly, this coat looks awesome. I watched a video while I was researching the coat, in which an employee from Spyder had mention that they had styled the mens "legend" collection coats after the new lamborghinis, which I also think look awesome I.E the Aventador, Veneno. Ok, so that was a bit off topic, but the point is buy this jacket, it is worth every dollar and you won't regret it. Just make sure to buy a size large than you normally would, because they fit very small for their size (unless you are looking for a really tight jacket.
