This is my second Spyder sweater in this style. The quality in design and materials is what you would expect from Spyder. This sweater will keep you warm as a stand alone or when worn as a layer. I have been wearing North Face jackets for years and am still very fond of them, but a friend told me about Spyder. I had never even heard about Spyder before, but I did my research on the Spyder website. I bought the Alpine colored jacket and it is really sharp. Internet pics do NOT do it justice. It seems to be extremely well made and is VERY warm with even only a t-shirt underneath! I always though North Face was IT and I still like their products, but I will definitely be buying more Spyder gear and it WILL BE from Peter Glenn's!!!
Spyder had a list of authorized dealers and I went to each one's website before ending up at Peter Glenn's who had the best price. I ordered the jacket from Peter Glenn, via Amazon, on 13 March 2012 and it said I would receive it on or about 21 March. To my suprise, I received it on 16 March and it was in perfect condition. You CANNOT beat customer service like that and I will definitely be a repeat customer with Peter Glenn!

I first experienced wearing the spyder heavyweight sweater two years ago when I purchased the spyder 3-in-1 jacket. I found myself only wearing the heavy weight which is warm and very adaptable for casual and formal use. It is a great addition to my wardrobe.
I haven't been on the slopes for two years now, but this Spyder Full-Zip Heavy Weight Sweater sure makes me look like it! When this arrived at my door, the first thing that occurred to me is how handsome and well made this is. Several people approached me and asked me where I got it. I have had nothing but compliments, but most importantly to me anyway, is how functional it is to wear both casually and for weekend hikes. It is very warm and I will have no problem wearing it alone in the upcoming Western New York winter...yes near Buffalo! If you have had any reservations about purchasing this...well just buy this and you will not regret it. Thank you Peter Glenn for excellent service. I will definitely shop here again.
