Is the raspberry color closer to a pink or a red? We would like a hot pink color not red. Some photos it looks pink others red. Either the Spyder Hottie Rasberry or the Spyder electric rasberry.

Is this jacket warm enough for MN winters even if you are not using it for skiing?

Yes! This jacket has 140g of Thermasoft insulation so its good for your northern winters. The important ingredient however is to make sure that you use a layering system (Baselayer, Midlayer and then jacket) on the coldest winter days. Check out the Hot Chillys Pepper Skins Crew for her as a baselayer and the Obermeyer Furry Fleece top as a midlayer!

Got this jacket for my daughter who had outgrown her last jacket. She spent the last four days on the slopes at Snowshoe being very comfortable, warm and dry. I would highly recommend this jacket. Went to my local Peter Glenn store to check it out. The people there are extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
