"This jacket does not have a hood. You might want to check out the Powderhorn Corbet X-Press Jacket or the Spyder Noatak Dwn Hoody Jkt which do have hoods!"

"Hi there, a few question i would appreciate your help on 1. What is the length of the jacket for M & L sizes? 2. I have a Spyder Alps large jacket. Could this jacked be worn as a mid layer for skiing around -15-20 C 3. Also I normally wear baggy (but I'm short 5.3 feet) - I bought a Spyder Outbound 1/2-Zip Core Sweater in L & it was quite long. So any suggestions on size. In fact if you could give me an indication of the length differences that would be great. Many thanks"

Question by Raj on 9/14/2012 - 11:48 pm
"The center back on a size M is 28.5" and on L is 29.5". This jacket is low profile and could be used as a layering piece however it is a jacket, not a sweater, so underneath another jacket it may restrict your movement more than just wearing the right layering pieces. That Outbound sweater that you bought would be a good mid-layer piece to use, along with the right Baselayer and combined with your Alps jacket you should be alright in the below zero temps. If you try to pair this jacket with Alps, even for -5 temps, it's going to be too hot and uncomfortable (unless you had literally nothing on underneath). Hope that helps! "

"No, just from the neck down"

"Fit question for this Jacket: I'm 6'4" tall, fairly muscular, and have long arms. In dress shirts I wear a size 18 neck, chest 48, and 36 or 37 inch sleeves, depending on how wide the back is. I've heard Spyder stuff runs small, and I remember trying on a Spyder mid layer while back, and it was a little bit too small, so I'm thinking the XL might not fit. What do you think for this jacket? XL? XXL? Get a different brand instead?"

Question by LP on 10/9/2012 - 10:25 pm
"The XXL seems like it would fit you. If for any reason you do not like it, you have 30 days to return or exchange. According to the Spyder sizing chart, you would perfectly fit into the XXL."
Answer by Sarah (Peter Glenn Staff) on 10/10/2012 - 3:31 pm
"Does the jacket fit snug like?"
