Q:
"What s the difference in length for the large pant with the L and without? I am a 36 at the waist L or XL? I guess better to have some extra room?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Dirk on 9/6/2012 - 7:09 am
A:
"Long lengths have an inseam that is usually about 2" longer than a regular pant. The size large should fit you perfectly. You will not need much extra room as the only layer you really need is a base layer thermal which is very thin. "

Also, you can order the extra large size and large size. try on both pants and return the pants that doesn't fit you. Please refer to our return policy."

"I am not able to go in and check on my correct size because I am currently working overseas, so when I get home we are leaving straight for Colorado. I normally wear a size 42 in pants, what would be the best bet to go with, size wise?"

Question by Kade on 2/17/2013 - 9:12 am
A:
"According to the size chart you should be a XXL, however you may want to size up to the 3XL just in case. As you don't have time to make any exchanges, you can always purchase both sizes and return the one that does not fit. That way, no matter what, you will be all set to go on your trip!"

Q:
"what is difference between: 1. Spyder Dare Insulated Ski Pant (Men's) 2. Spyder Norwand Shell Ski Pant (Men's) I'm looking for pants for normal alpine skiing, not for extreme skiing"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by slepy62 on 5/1/2013 - 4:56 am
A:
"The dare is insulated so it will hold your body heat, the Norwand Shell is not. It is only a shell layer. The Dare is a very good typical ski pant. It has really good waterproofing and breathability and it is warm. The Norwand is a high-tech shell. The material is higher quality and has more stretch to it and it has the Recco® Avalanche Rescue reflector. They are both high end ski pants, it would just depend on what features you are looking for."

These pants fit grown men, not just slim teenagers. There is ample room to move, sit, bend without it being too baggy or loose. The insulation is just right for true wintertime skiing. I recommend these.
