I'd like to buy these pants as a present for my dad. I can't choose the right size. His waist is 107 cm, inseam - 75 cm. His old pants' length is 100 cm. I think his size is XXL, short. Help me!!!
Question by Oxana
10/17/2011 - 8:53 pm
I measured the size XL short and the XXL short for you. The XL short seems like it would be a better fit for your dad. They measure 42" wide, 43" long, and have an inseam of 30.5". The XXL short measured 44" wide, 44.5" long, and had an inseam of 32". Keep in mind that there is also an adjustable waist so you can make it smaller or larger for a better fit. So I would recommend the XL short. Hope that helps!

I'm a size 32, 32 what would be the best size for me in these ski pants
Question by Mike
10/26/2011 - 2:05 am
A men's 32-inch waist would fit a medium size. These pants also offer an adjustable waist feature and removable suspenders to customize your fit.

My husband is a 36x30 What would be the best size for him?
Question by Carol
11/18/2011 - 2:15 pm
The size that would best fit your husband is the L-S (Large-Short) The inseam on this size is 31" which is the closest to his 30" inseam.

I'm a 35x30 what size is good for me? I've tried the L/S first track pants and they were too long, will the M/S be to tight in the waist?
Question by Charlie
11/21/2011 - 1:50 pm
The largest waist measurement a medium will accommodate is a 34". If you are looking for a short inseam, check out the Obermeyer Railyard

I'm a size 32 (width), 34 to 36 (length) what would be the best size for me in these ski pants? Thanks for your efforts.
Question by Basty
11/28/2011 - 5:22 am
You may need a longer inseam than we have. It looks like you need to get a medium, however they only have a 32" inseam. You would need a long which we do not carry.

I'm a big guy. I wear 48" waist, 32" inseam. Is the 3XL the right one for me?
Question by Brad
12/5/2011 - 5:10 pm
Spyder does at times run a little small. The 3XL waist only goes up to a 46" waist.

I´m interested in White/red Spyder jacket and like also Spyder Dare pants (red color). Is it possible? Now it is out of stock. Thanks

We do have the Spyder Titan Jacket in the white/red color but not the Dare pants in red. However the black Dare pants would go really nicely with the jacket!

I'm 6'5" and wear 36x36" jeans. I couldn't find where Spyder lists the inseams. Are the inseams on the L/L and the XL/L the same or do you have a recommendation?
Question by Patrick
12/7/2011 - 12:25 pm
The inseam for the L/L is 32.5" and for the XL/L is 33"

What is the inseam for a medium regular and a medium short size. My pant size is 34x30, what size would be best for me?
Question by shawnski
12/15/2011 - 12:24 am
A medium regular is a 32 inseam and the short is a 30.5. You may need to go with the short inseam if the measurements match up.

Are there any differences between these pants and the Spyder Propulsion Men's pants, besides the mesh on the Dare pant's suspenders? I'm trying to decide between the two.
Question by Dan
1/9/2012 - 12:31 am
While they both are a great selection there are a couple of differences. The Spyder Propulsion Pant has belt loops and the Dare has an adjustable waist. The Propulsion also has the jacket-to-pant attachment while the Dare does not.

I have a 31/32 waist with a 33/34 inseam what is your recommendation for the sizing of the length? Is it Med - Long?
Question by lw
1/26/2012 - 9:06 am
With a 34" inseam you are tall enough to try a "long" size. With a 32" waist you should choose a size medium. So your size in this particular pant is Medium-Long.

Medium - Short Hi, I need size which is Mens Medium Short. I notice you don't have this option listed in this pant variety. Do you carry this or can you recommend an alternative from Spyder or other venders ?
Question by Iain
2/22/2012 - 6:32 pm
We do not carry these in a short inseam. A short inseam is very popular and sells out so quickly! We do have the Bogner Rik-T in a short inseam if you would be interested in taking a look at those.

I'm trying to find the right size for my growing 14 year old son. He has a 27" waist and 30.5" inseam. What do you recommend?
Question by lhaggart
2/23/2012 - 9:26 pm
In a Spyder men's pant your son would need to go with an XS for the right fit. Spyder also has a boys pant called the Spyder Propulsion Ski Pant . These pants in a size 18 will fit his waist now and have a little bit more room to grow, and have a 30.5 inseam. The hems will also lengthen about 2 inches to grow with your son.

I'm trying to buy a whole set - pants and jacket. Color-wise, would this be the same color as the "lime" in the Spyder Rival jacket? Or would you recommend getting the lime jacket and the black pants?
Question by Abhishek
3/12/2012 - 3:35 am
The sharp lime will be the same as in the Rival jacket. Either option would look great, it just depends on how much you would like to stick out in the snow!
Answer by Ashley (Peter Glenn Staff)

Is the jacket to pants attachment the same no matter what type of Spyder Jacket and/or Spyder Pant? I have a 2010 Spyder Scout jacket and am looking for Spyder pants and cannot decide which ones I want.
Question by Jeff
3/20/2012 - 2:41 pm
We currently do not have any Spyder pants with a zip in feature to connect them to the jacket. We do have Burton pants with jacket-to-pant interface that creates a snow-proof seal, however, nothing from Spyder.

Great Pants!

Wanted a pair of pants that had a high back to prevent my shirt from coming untucked/snow getting down my pants when I would sit down to strap on my board. I'm 5'6" 31" waist and small fits great. Cool down easily with thigh vents, good pocket depth and placement. Highly recommended.

Great Pants at a great price

I was a little worried that these were too thin and light to be warm. Boy was I wrong. Medium Hot Chilly's were warm under these on a 12 degree morning. When it got up to 57 degrees (F) a month later, the vents kept me comfortable. Fairly loose fit makes it a snap to ski hard. Thigh pocket is perfect for Mammoth Mtn RFID passes.

Great pants at a great price

I called the Spyder Company to get their recommendation for my growing 12 year old son. He snowboards, and loves Spyder brand outerwear because it is warm without being heavy and restricting movement. This winter he wore the Spyder Force pants. I wanted to purchase a replacement for next winter, since he will have outgrown the Force pants by then. They recommended the Dare pant in a man's size S-long (his legs are long), and gave me a list of where I might be able to find them. The long inseams are not easy to find, but Peter Glenn had them and they were on sale! He tried them on when they arrived and, although they are large on him now, I know he will be able to wear them by next winter. Please, please don't stop carrying the long inseams... his father is 6'3"!!!
