The Spyder Breaker Insulated Ski Jacket has sharp asymmetrical lines and a fantastic, flattering fit. Spyder used stretch fabric and a low-profile insulation to give you the best fit possible in a technical ski jacket. The insulation is PrimaLoft, which is really incredible stuff. Just a little bit produces a ton of warmth, which means there's less bulk overall. You'll be amazed when you put the Breaker Jacket on at how comfortable and light it feels. You'll also be amazed when you head out in sleet and the moisture just rolls right off the surface.

"I'm looking for a soft-shell, but I love the colors this jacket comes in. How thick is this jacket in comparison to a soft-shell?"

Question by QueenReen on 10/9/2013 - 7:10 pm
"This jacket is very different from a softshell. A softshell typically only has a fleece backing on it so it is not very warm. This is a ski jacket and it has a lot of warmth. This is not a bulky jacket, however, in comparison to a softshell, it is heavier. "

"Do the winner blue ski pants match this jacket?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by M J on 12/2/2013 - 12:41 pm
"The exact blue to match this jacket is called Blue My Mind. I would recommend the Spyder Traveler Insulated Ski Pant!"
Answer by Sarah (Peter Glenn Staff) on 12/2/2013 - 2:25 pm
"I know manufacturers have different measurements for their sizes. I wear women's 18 (diva 2)in motorcycle jackets by Joe Rocket,Firstgear, etc. This jacket says "relaxed fit" so it should have a bit more room for fuller figures? Hard to find good looking functional ski jackets in my size. Thanks!"

Question by divemasterkathy on 1/1/2014 - 3:14 pm
"I'm not familiar with motorcycle brands, however ski gear/brands can tend to run small and many people have to size up. You should definitely check out the size chart to see what size would fit you best in this brand based off of your measurements. A size 18 is for someone with a chest size of 42.5". "

"What store do you have the 10 in near Boynton Beach? Does it run big? Do you have the blue pants to match?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by M J on 1/22/2014 - 7:46 pm
"Our Altamonte store is the only store that has the last size 10 left in the White/Blue My Mind color. Unfortunately we are sold out of the blue pant that matches. Any black ski pant would work just as well though."
Answer by Martha (Peter Glenn Staff) on 1/23/2014 - 9:09 am
"Is this jacket warmer then the Quest Volt jacket?"

Very warm!   Rated: 5/5

I haven't had a chance to try this out on the mountain yet but after trying it on I would have to say it's going to be very warmer than what I have.
