The Bormio Pant for men is packed with features like ventilation, pockets, lightweight insulation, and a simple design that will match all your favorite jackets; but the bottom line is when you stay dry, you stay happy.

If you are looking for a short inseam, check out the Obermeyer Railyard: http://www.peterglenn.com/product/obermeyer-railyard-pants-mens or the Spyder Dare is also available in the shorter inseams.

The product description indicates thigh ventilation.
It is difficult to find it inthe online pictures.
Where is it; inside outside etc.
Thx, Robert
Question by Robert

The thigh ventilation is located directly on the thigh on both legs. If you select additional view and scroll your mouse over the right leg you can see the bottom of the ventilation zipper. It is both convenient and functional.

Hello. I just bought the Bormio in Medium size and it feels a bit too big around the waist (i.e. if I do not use the suspenders, it will likely fall). It feels fine around the legs. Did I get one size too big (I wear 31-32 in jeans)? How much smaller is the small size.
Question by Yves
2/22/2012 - 7:16 pm
You may want to size down, however if you like more room in the legs the Bormio does have an adjustable waist along with the suspenders. A small will fit a 29"-31" waist. This measurement is based on your body measurements, not your pant actual pant size. You can always look at the sizing chart to help guide you in your sizing.

How do these pants compare to the Dare line?
Question by Brian
2/23/2012 - 10:12 am
A lot of the technical features on the Bormio are the similuar to the Dare however the Bormio is just a step up. Both have 20k waterproofing however the Bormio have 30K breathabilty which the Dare only has 20K. The Bormio also has a Primaloft insulation which is going to be just about the best insulation out there. Very lightweight however super warm. The Borimio is going to have a slightly more athletic fit while the Dare will have a little bit more of a relaxed fit with more room.

Rating:
Excellent quality, fit, and comfort. Spent a week skiing in Whistler, B.C. and this kept me warm all day with the addition of only a thin base layer. No restriction in mobility and plenty of pockets. As always, top-notch build quality from Spyder.
