is this jacket waterproof

This jacket has a 10K Waterproofing rating which keeps you dry in moderate rain or on an average snowy day. It also has critically tapped seams. This means that only the shoulder area is tapped which is the most critical area on the jacket due to it's high impact with snow. Another feature is the DWR coating on the jacket. This coating wicks water away from the fabric so that you stay warm and dry!

The back of the jacket has no picture graphic. It does say Spyder at the top in stitching.

This is a taffeta lining that is a silky feeling which means it is going to be really breathable!

The Rage color is an orange red color. I would say it is more on the red side rather than orange, but it definitely has some orange in it.

nice jacket

Nice jacket, not too dense/thick, my son says it is very comfortable. Have not used it yet for skiing but it has been worn in cold weather in New York City.
