Is the jacket true to its size? I wear size 4, would size 6 be right for me in this jacket? also what is the length of this jacket ?
Question by Sally

All Spyder jackets tend to run a little small. I would definitely suggest a size 6. The center back measurement is 25". Thanks!

You are absolutely right about that. You should try the size 4 that way you will have a bit extra space for layering.

I have really long arms. Do the sleeves run long?
Question by Shelly
3/7/2011 - 12:33 pm
I understand that the sleeves are long enough to fit a tall person.

Yes, the Spyder sleeves are long, one of many reasons I'm hooked on the brand. I'm 5'9.5" tall, broad shoulders, long arms (weigh 155)....I get the Size 16 and the sleeves are very adequately long!! A wonderful trait of this brand. I have three Spyder jackets!!

My wife is about 5' bust 36 and about 120lbs. Most of the jackets she has looked at she likes the 10 because it leaves room for layers, but this jackets seems to have very thick insulation. Would an 8 probably work for her?
Question by chris
1/17/2012 - 9:26 am
If it ain't broke, don't fix it! :) Based off of her measurements, she should be in a size 10. And since that is the size that she normally likes, I would recommend sticking to that. We always suggest to size up in jackets anyway; rarely do we ever suggest to size down. As we are sold out of her size, take a look at the newest Spyder Amp Jacket which we have in a few colors options in her size.

Question by GV

I would suggest a size 8, however, you can match up your measurements to the sizing chart for the most accurate fit.

Good Value and Very Warm

I wore this jacket during my ski trip to Whistler B.C. over Thanksgiving weekend. It was very warm and comfortable. It kept me dry too. The only drawback is that the size 12 was a little snug around my middle, otherwise it worked out great!
