The Special Blend March jacket is lightly insulated and totally waterproof. The removable hood, pit zips, and zip-off powder skirt let you customize the jacket to the conditions, making the March a jacket you can depend on from the beginning of the season to the end.

How warm is this jacket compared to say, a 140g Spyder ski jacket?

This jacket is only lightly insulated and you will need layers underneath. A 140g Spyder jacket will keep you extremely warm on the other hand.

What brands typically have snow gaitors? It is often not in the description and difficult to see in the pictures.

Almost every jacket that is described as a Ski jacket will have the snow gaitors. It will also be written in the product description.
