The zipper length for the size XXL is approx. 33in.

Does this jacket have stretch wrist gaitors?
And how is the color? Pretty deep purple or bright?

It does not have wrist gaiters and it is a muted "Barney" purple.

No...you are right, some of the jackets in this line have the internal cord that pulls the waist a bit tighter, but this one does not.
