Q:
"I want to duplicate a pair of Snow Angel thermal pants I received last year as a gift. The Snow Angel pants I have are labeled "doeskin" and are wonderful. These say "87% microtherm with Silver Clear." Is this doeskin?"

A:
"This is definitely doeskin - the microtherm with silver clear is just the fabric specs. "

Q:
"I am a first timer for skiing so is this enough to wear under my north face ski pants?"

Question by Jennifer on 1/17/2011 - 2:34 pm
A:
"These are a great thermal for underneath. Depending on how much insulation there is in your pants I think you should be just fine."

Q:
"I am used to warm weather and heading to Park City where it is 5 degrees, I need to stay warm and I am always cold- are these the best choice or would you recommend a different type for under my ski pants- I don't like bulky fit either."

"If you are looking for a seamless thermal, this is the best choice and it is really warm as well."

Q:
"What are your longest inseam women's thermals? I need 34, at least."
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Kitty on 2/11/2011 - 4:54 pm
A:
"Most of our thermals are in the 31" range, but I have a 33" inseam and I wear regular length. You also could consider the 3/4-length thermals. Your ski socks not only bridge the gap but they stay out of the way of the pressure of your ski boots. "

Q:
"What pants do you recommend the snow angel Cybersik or the Doeskin. What is the difference"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Monica on 3/16/2011 - 10:22 am
A:
"The Doeskin is more of a thermal. The Cybersilk is better to wick out moisture from your body when doing any kind of activity."

Q:
"Would this work like the underarmour cold gear under a pair of shorts for track? How does it handle exposure to the elements? "
2 Answers | Answer Question
Question by DMG - Cleveland on 4/4/2011 - 12:17 pm
A:
"This can be used as a base layer, it will keep your body temperature and wick out moisture. However it is not a compression tight like Under-Armour."
Answer by Grace (Peter Glenn Staff) on 4/4/2011 - 12:30 pm
A:
"I have 4 pairs of Snow Angel bottoms because I love them. I wear a pair while skiing, shoveling snow, or under scrubs at work (because it's so cold where I work). They are AWESOME! They wick moisture, are thin and not bulky, and are stretchy/flexible so they don't tug or restrict movement. If it's really cold, I wear 2 pair under my snow pants and they keep me warm. Compress easily to pack for ski trips, wash out and dry quickly in the hotel or condo. I highly recommend them. I've not had to replace a pair yet, and I've had them about 5 yrs. I never tumble dry--only hang to dry. PS: I HATE the cold!"
