How 'supportive' for the foot and heel is this shoe? I'm concerned about its cushioning too and it's stability and durability. I really like that it's made out of sustainable hemp. It doesn't appear to necessarily be comfortable, or is it?

Sanuk actually makes extremely comfortable footwear. Though it will not be super supportive, you will find comfort in the freedom feel the shoe offers.
