Product Details

Style: 127260

The Salomon BBR 8.9 Ski is like that foreign exchange student who's a little different than you, but is one of the coolest people you've ever met once you get to know him. The design of the Salomon BBR embraces the floaty characteristics of a surf board so you can dive into the powder, but the turn radius is nice and short for carving on the groomers. A semi twin-tip in the tail and narrower width makes for easy steering when you're dodging Aspens.

  • Design: All-Mountain
  • Camber: Traditional
  • Ski Dimensions: 147-88-110

  • Full wood core for lively feel
  • Durable sandwich sidewalls and reinforced edges
  • Pulsepad molded in the ski to dampen vibrations
  • Surfy V-shape enhances float

"I would recommend this ski over the Rictor for you. You would be able to put the Kneebinding system on this ski and get better use out of it. The Rictor that we have already has a binding system on it. If you placed your order today before 3pm EST you would probably get it tomorrow. "

""We haven't carried this ski previously so it's hard to compare a ski from a few seasons back that we never had. What information I did find is that it seems the new version has a slightly wider tail (110cm vs. 102cm). For your height/weight you should probably go with the size 176.""
