Q:
"I need to now wash this jacket, which I bought from you. How would you recommend that I wash and re-waterproof it? May I wash it in warm water, as some waterproofing products require that?"

A:
"Based on the care instructions on the inside of the jacket, you would want to wash it inside out. To prevent snags and damage, zip-up all zippers, secure any hooks or loops, and close all snaps and buttons. Wash in cold water. Wash it separately. Do not dry clean, do not use fabric softener, and do not use bleach. If you are using a wash-in type of DWR restorer, add it in for the wash cycle.Use the gentle cycle, or hand-wash.Do not wring. Hang dry your garment until it is completely dry. Do not hang your garment over a heat source to dry it faster as this can damage your garment’s fabric and waterproof coating. To reactivate the water repellent coating you can light steam iron or spray on water repellent. I hope this information helps!"
