Product Details

Style: RA1EH02

The Rossignol Experience 88 Ski has a pretty wide waist for good float, but it can still carve a mean line. The reason is that Rossignol blends traditional camber under foot with rocker at the tip and tail. This adds a forgiving feel to the tip and tail that encourages carving, but maintains that solid, strong grip you need for carving at speed. The Extended Sidecut gives these skis a long running length, and encourages fast, precise transitions between turns. The Experience 88 is a fast, aggressive ski for men that want to tear up all sorts of terrain.

Question by John A on 1/18/2012 - 9:03 pm
A:
"The construction of this ski is what makes it better for a more advanced rider. It has a wider waist measurement of 88 which would keep you afloat in deeper snow. Also, the shape of the ski makes it very fast. This is recommended for an advanced rider rather than an intermediate because of this. "

Question by Paulydee on 12/18/2012 - 12:10 am
A:
"Depending on how aggressive of a skier you are and what type of trail you are going to go down in, is going to be a determining factor in what size I would recommend for you. If you are going to be on the groomers/freestyle slopes and a more chill skier, get the 170 size. If you are an aggressive skier or like the big mountain/Powder slopes, get the 178 size."

Q:
"I am 6'3", 225 lbs and I ski the east mostly. I am looking for at the E88 for trees, bumps, and carving. I need it to be stable at speed, but enjoy the bumps. I am thinking the 178 cm will do the trick, but not sure. I am an advance expert skier. I am thinking the 187 cm might be a little long for the east. What you think."

A:
"If you are going to stay on the groomers, which it sounds like you are not, then you should stick to the 178cm. Otherwise, you would need to go with the 187cm for all mountain or backcountry specific skiing. "
