Yes! It is very soft and shiny. The boots are leather and the fur is actually goat hair...it makes for a very luxurious boot.

The boots are pretty warm, but the lining is not additional goat fur. It is constructed of a great, soft calf ski leather.

These are not waterproof. I would not suggest getting them wet. They're more for fashion rather than function.

The sole of the boot is very durable, and you should be fine if you happen to step in a bit of water and snow. It is a very pretty boot and can withstand some exposure to elements but it considered water-resistant in places...not totally waterproof. Hope that helps!
