"Yes! It is very soft and shiny. The boots are leather and the fur is actually goat hair...it makes for a very luxurious boot."

"The sole of the boot is very durable, and you should be fine if you happen to step in a bit of water and snow. It is a very pretty boot and can withstand some exposure to elements but it considered water-resistant in places...not totally waterproof. Hope that helps!"
