"How warm is the jacket? For example, if I wear a light base layer and a mid-weight pullover, this jacket will keep me warm at what temperature? Does the sizing accommodate a down sweater layer, or is it more form fitting?"

"If you would like more layers to be put underneath other than a base or mid-layer then you would need to size up. Snowboard jackets cannot be temperature rated because there are so many factors that need to be taken into consideration. Do you get cold easily, are you going to be actively boarding or just using it for walking around outside (the more heat you generate, the less amount of layering you need), and what layers you have on are really important factors (wool vs cotton). This jacket has 100g of Primaloft insulation which is the warmest synthetic insulation you can have. Usually because this is such a warm insulation, only 60g would be used. Seeing how this jacket has 100g it is considered to be VERY warm. I wouldn't recommend using a down mid layer due to the fact that you will probably be too warm. But that's your own personal preference."
