"What is Acclimate fabric like? I am looking for fleece lined women's tights, not bulky, but warmer than regular tights, for cold winter walks in the park. Thanks."

"This is a spandex type fabric. If you sweat, it will take away that moisture so it won't cool you off when it is already cold! This is definitely warmer than those regular tights!"

"The fit of this pant looks like a tight (i.e., it hugs the body) but the words say "relaxed fit" and that this can be a mid-layer, i.e. something under it. Do my eyes deceive? Thanks."

"This is a relaxed fit for a thermal. Thermals are tightly fitted to the body. This one is not a compressed super snug fit, it is a bit more relaxed."

"I have tight-fitted ski pants. Will these work as a base layer under? I'm debating these or the Snow Angel Cybersilk V Waist for $20 more."

"It depends on what warmth level you want. They are both a tight fitting pant but this Polarmax is going to provide a bit more warmth than the Snow Angel Cybersilk. "

Can't wear them alone   Rated: 1/5

I didn't like these. They have a thin fabric. In a size small the waist was too high (I'm 5'3" 125 lbs). The elastic waistband looked old ladyish. These would be ok if no one ever had to see them, they would add warmth. I wanted to wear them alone & would never do that.

Good choice for winter sports thermal   Rated: 5/5

Material not as thick as I thought it would be when it says double layer, but warm enough. Fits snugly close to skin, not baggy at all, just right to slip under even tight ski pants. Good value.
