How do these double layer thermal pants compare to snow dragon microfleece? Are they the same thickness?

The micro fleece of the Snow dragons is a light weight fabric that keeps you warm, the double layer from Polarmax is a mid weight fabric that will keep you warmer.

My Daughter is 5 years old and wears a size 5toddler in pants. Would the small size be too big or would a XSmall be better?

Right now it looks like she is in between sizes. When this happens I always suggest sizing up so you can use them for next season too!
