Q:
"Hi there. This jacket is listed twice on your site, once full price and once on sale. I require a size 4 but it is not on sale. Can you please advise the reason for this.
Thank you"
Question by Jane on 9/9/2012 - 10:19 pm
A:
"Obermeyer has re-introduced the Tuscany jacket for the 2012/13 season so all of the brand new Tuscany jackets are currently regular price. The old model here has been marked down as you have noticed that we no longer have a full size run and the jacket is from last season. The only ones that are on sale are the sizes/jackets from last season."

Q:
"Hi there - just wondering where this jacket sits on a 5 ft 8 women - would it be just below the waist or on the hips. The previous model looks like its on the hip but this one looks shorter. Many thanks!!!"
Question by kathryn on 10/28/2012 - 5:00 pm
A:
"If you take a look at the video, Laura is 5'8. You can see an accurate representation of the fit on her."

Q:
"I have longer arms and waist so wondering how the jacket runs. Wondering if I should get a 6 or 8"
Question by Betty on 11/17/2012 - 10:49 am
A:
"If you look at the video you can see how the jacket fits me. I'm about 5'8", but I also have long arms. Things are constantly too short in the sleeves for me, but this jacket was fine. For reference, when I measure from the center of my back all the way down to my sleeve cuffs it is about 31"."

Q:
"I'm trying to decide between this jacket and the Obermeyer Delaney jacket for an everyday jacket. I'm moving to a place where the temperature range in the winter is -5 C to 5 C. Which would you recommend for this temperature? I'm worried that either this one will be too warm, or the Delaney will not be warm enough. Thanks!"
Question by Rebecca on 12/15/2012 - 2:09 pm
A:
""Comparing the two jackets, the Tuscany jacket has way more insulation and will do a better job keeping you warm. When you are in that kind of cold temperature, I would look more into a down jacket like the
Obermeyer Kassandra Down Coat.""
Answer by Jaime (Peter Glenn Staff) on 12/16/2012 - 4:28 pm
A:
"Thanks, but that jacket isn't waterproof. I need a waterproof jacket because it rains a lot where I am moving to... it's difficult to find waterproof jackets that aren't ski jackets, that is why I am looking at ski jackets."
Answer by Rebecca on 12/16/2012 - 11:28 pm
A:
"This Tuscany jacket would be absolutely fine for everyday wear. I lived in Canada for 10 years where temps often hovered around the freezing point. With this jacket, you will need to make sure you
properly layer at night or on blizzardy days. I would not go with Delaney, it's not going to be enough to get you through the entire winter. "

Q:
"Hi there... I am 5 ft 2 and was wondering where this jacket fits. Am a little worried that it might be too short. Also is the size 2 a petite or regular sizing? I understand that Obermeyer now sells petite sizes for this new Tuscany jacket. Many thanks!! "
Question by Sit on 1/5/2013 - 9:00 am
A:
"This is the regular sized jacket. We also sell the petite version
here. The length measurements for this jacket are listed as Center front measures 22.5" / Center back measures 26.5". The petite measures Center front measures 21.5" / Center back measures 25.5" so it's an inch shorter."

Question by Andy on 1/17/2013 - 4:36 am

Obermeyer Capri Ski Jacket. The Tuscany jacket also has the fur and stretch inner cuffs keep snow out of sleeves. "

Thank you!"
Question by Barbie in WV on 2/5/2013 - 9:33 pm

I bought this jacket at the end of ski season for next year, so I have not worn it to ski, but it looks great! I know that it is water repellent (a huge plus out on the slopes when it starts snowing) as the mid-atlantic was just hit with a few inches of snow. The quality of the product is as described. The hood made to wear with a ski helmet - perfect for me.
Purchased this jacket for our annual spring ski trip in March to Beaver Creek. The first 3 days were like winter skiing, super cold and the jacket kept me very warm and dry. Stylish and performs well. Love it!
