This jacket runs very true to size. The size XL measures 28" across in from arm pit to arm pit.

At the same price range you are going to find the jackets have very similar features, but the style is very different including the color scheme and the pocket placements. Also the raptor has a bit more insulation.

Then I must ask... What are the pockets inside the coat like? Goggles, media, cell phone? Also, does this have handgaiters with thumb holes like the Skyhawk does?

There are a ton of pockets on the inside of this jacket. There are goggle pockets, media, and cell phone. This jacket does have the thumb holes you are looking for.
