Is this definitely a stretchy material? Obermeyer's site indicates that the shell is 100% nylon twill; no mention of spandex.

This jacket does not stretch like a thermal, but it has a nylon blend fabric that does not make the jacket stiff, but slightly flexible to move with you.

This beautiful jacket does have the silky soft leopard print lining that many of the women Obermeyer jackets have. It feels so soft again your skin!

I really like the looks of this jacket, but is it warm? What is the best way to compare the Obermeyer jackets in terms of warmth and also wind and water protection? Please help!

In terms of warmth you should be comparing insulation's. This jacket has Thinsulate insulation which is an average warm insulation. It will definitely keep you warm this Winter. Water and wind protection refers to the 5K, 10K, or 20K rating. The higher the rating, the more waterproof/breathable the fabric is.
