"Hello. Could you please recommend me what size to order. My daughter is now 5 years old, height - 44.5" (113 cm). So the question is it OK to order size 5 (41.5-44") or maybe it's better to order size 6 (44,5-47")? In practice, Obermeyer's clothes are of small size or quite the contrary? Thank you for your help."

Question by Olga on 10/13/2012 - 4:00 am
"Obermeyer is made very true to size. The sizing chart is an perfect reflection of their sizing. I would recommend getting the size 6 so that she can wear the jacket longer. She would grow out of the size 5 almost immediately. "

"Hello. Could you please recommend what size jacket to order. My daughter is now 1 year and 9 months, 35" (88 cm), 12 kg. I don't know what size is the best to order, 2T or 3T. Do you have the measurements of this jacket in size 2T and 3T (length of the back, sleeve on the outer seam, waist)? Thank you."

Question by Julia on 11/16/2012 - 5:36 am
"It looks like she is in the 2T size. Obermeyer has the igrow system where you can remove some threads on the sleeve near the cuffs to expand the sleeve a few more inches, so the jacket last longer, as they grow. On the 2t size, the center back measures 16", the sleeve measures 7", and the waist measures 29". On the 3t size, the center back measures 17", the sleeve measures 9", and the waist measures 30.5". "

"Hi, I'm buying this jacket for my daughter for next year. She is currently 5 1/2 and will be 6 1/2 when she wears it next year. She is currently 44.5 inches tall and would fit into a size 6, however, because I'm ordering for next year should I order a size 7? Or will this be very big on her next year? I don't want it to be too huge to wear next season. Thanks."

Question by Melody on 3/20/2013 - 10:53 am
"I think a size 7 might be a bit big on her this coming winter season, however next season it might be a perfect fit, and with the Igrow system, you might get her into that same jacket for the 2015 season as well. If you think that you and she will be bored with that jacket by 2015/16, then go with the size 6. It will fit her better later this year and with the Igrow system, you will still be able to wear it next year as well. "

"Hello, could you please provide measurements, including for the sleeves, for sizes 4T and 5T? My daughter is petite but will be a 4T by next ski season but we'd love to get 2 seasons in this cute jacket. Many thanks!"

Question by Susie on 4/6/2013 - 11:31 am
"Size 4: Sleeve is 10", centerback measurement is 18.5". Size 5: Sleeve is 11", centerback measurement is 19.5". Definitely go off of the measurements that are provided in the sizing chart to see what size you should choose. My 2 1/2 yo is actually to small for size 2, based off of what I see in the size chart, so I know that with the extended cuffs, I should buy a size 2 for her so that she fits into it this year and next year. "

I'm not sure who loves it more, myself or my daughter. I love the colours the fit and the quality of the jacket, and my daughter loves the compass, the funky buttons on the sleeves and the big flower on the front. But most of all the soft fluffy fleece on the collar, hood and wrists make it super comfy to wear. And anything that she'll wear without a fight is a favourite of mine!!!
