Is this jacket as warm as the Salomon Fantasy II?

The Salomon Fantasy II jacket will be slightly warmer than this jacket. These jackets have different types of insulation; the Salomon allows you to wear less layers since it has more insulation. However this Obermeyer might take you through the entire winter as you can simply add layers in colder weather, but still use the jacket in milder temps.

Is the Obermeyer Josie warmer than the Obermeyer Kennedy?

The Obermeyer Kennedy Insulated Ski Jacket will be much warmer than the Obermeyer Josie Ski Jacket. The Kennedy has a much higher waterproofing and breathability rating. This will keep more water out of your jacket from the snow or the rain and it will allow more moisture be released when you are sweating. The less moisture you have on your body, the warmer you will be! Also, the Kennedy is fully seamed-sealed as opposed to this jacket which is only critically seamed sealed.
