I just recieved the size 16 regular in the mail. I bought it for a Christmas gift for my sister. I bought a 16 but it seems way too big. I am wondering the difference in sleeve length, waist, chest and body length in the 16 petite and 16 regular. I am in Canada so want to be sure of exact size since I have to make another 4 hour drive to the border to exchange and pick up the next coat.

The difference between the regular and petite is in the sleeves and length. The regular size is 22 inches in the sleeve from armpit to bottom of sleeve, while the petite size is 20.5 inches. The center back measures 28 inches on the regular size and 27 inches on the petite.

Does this jacket have a snap or draw cord powder skirt? Also, are there air vents?

This jacket has a draw cord around the waist to keep the cold air and snow out. There are no pit zips for ventilation. You should check out the Spyder Project Insulated Ski Jacket which has that specific feature!

Which one is the warmest - the Obermeyer Capri or the Salomon Fantasy ll? Are both brands true to their sizes?

This Capri jacket has more insulation so it would keep you warmer on a dry cold day. The Fantasy Jacket has better waterproofing and would protect you better out in the elements because it has a 10K waterproofing/breathability rating as opposed to the 5K like the Capri. The Fantasy also has fully seam sealed seams as opposed to the Capri which is only critically sealed.

It does not have a 2-way zipper. I would recommend checking out the Spyder Project Insulated Ski Jacket or the Obermeyer Positano Ski Jacket!

I Love this Coat!!! Thank You!!!

I love my new ski jacket!!! Thank You!!! The only question I have is that the coat says that it had lycra inner cuffs with thumb holes (which I wanted), but it doesn't have them. (It said it on the tag attached to the coat.)

Love it

Just returned from an 8-day ski trip with my new Capri jacket. I'm a petite, and was so pleased to find a jacket that really looks like it was made for me. I stuff my pockets for a day of skiing, and so I appreciated the fact that the jacket is not too tight to zip when my pockets are all filled. It's very warm and the fabric feels luxurious. It kept me dry on a day with a ton of very wet snow falling. My friends liked the Waterfall color because they could keep track of me easily. The Diva Blue is a great color, too, though, so you can't go wrong.

The Jacket Rocks

Finally, I found a jacket that is both warm and comfortable. Fits perfectly and if needed, I can wear a hoodie underneath. I wear a large shirt and bought a size 14. I've received numerous compliments on this jacket. Not to mention all the pockets are a huge plus!
