"I tried on the Camille at a local shop. It is beautiful. Then when I went to your website I saw the Positano (2013) and thought it looked really great too. I will be skiing in Utah and want to find a great jacket. In comparing these two- I know the Positano is longer. Does it have the same number of vents and pockets as the Camille? Are both of their hoods helmet compatible and is the interior fabric the same where it will glide over the layers of clothes. Lastly, although I am not planning on it, which would be more forgiving if I gained 10 pounds in the hips/stomach? Thanks!"

""The Camille has pit zips, the Positano does not. Other than that, both jackets have the same amount of inside pockets. The snow skirt on the Camille is removable so you can take it on and off as you like, it is not removable on the Positano. The lining on the inside of the Camille is also a softer fabric and there is body mapping which means that a different piece of fabric is placed between your shoulder blades to help make the jacket more breathable when you get overheated. The Positano does have a larger hood on it. Both are very beautiful jackets but I think the Positano would be a little bit more forgiving because of it's shape. ""

"My jacket arrived yesterday. I'm pleased with it and will keep it. But I'm disappointed in the number of pockets. "Multiple interior and exterior pockets" listed in the features means to me more than two. There are 2 interior and 2 exterior pockets. The manufacturer tags list a cell phone or media pocket. I couldn't find that, either. It's a good thing I have 3 pockets in my ski pants, or this jacket would not do for me."

"I do apologize for all of the confusion. This jacket only features 4 pockets. The two outside hand pockets as well as the goggle and cell phone pocket on the inside. The cell phone pocket is the zippered pocket that we feature in our photos. If you ever have any questions before you place an order you can give us a call and we would be more than happy to assist you. "

"Where is the ticket ring located? I'm trying to decide between this and the Leighton jacket, which has a easy-to-spot (?metal) ticket ring at the front left breast. Can you please tell me where is the ticket ring on the Camille jacket, and if there's one, is it a fabric loop or a metal ring? "

"We do not temperature rate jackets. So many other factors could change this rating. This jacket has a good amount of warmth so we do give it a 7 out of 10. With the perfect mid layer you would wear this beautiful jacket is most conditions. "

"How does the sizing run? I am usually an 8, sometimes a 6 for snug fit, but i like to be able to wear a black medium weight fleece under my jackets - worth sizing up to a 10 as this is "slim" fit?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Chris on 1/15/2014 - 11:12 am
"If you are normally and 8 you would want to size up to a 10 as this is a slim fit. If you like to wear bulky layers underneath then you might want to size up to a 12. "

Pretty, but....   Rated: 3/5

This jacket is very pretty I'll admit and I purchased it last year with the matching Obermeyer Birmingham pants in red from Peter Glenn. The look was striking and I got compliments. However, I've never been so cold as when I wore this last ski season and this year as well. I had to buy a fleece vest to wear under the jacket just to keep warm even with layers. I've never been cold on the front side of my body like this. The pants were a little better with the more insulating Under Armour I wore. The temps in Utah and Colorado were 0 thru the teens. Without extra extra layering this jacket is a spring skiing piece only or in temps over 30 degrees. This is coming from someone who is never cold and has been an expert skier over 15 years.

Still one of the best ski jackets on the market   Rated: 5/5

This is a replacement for a beloved ski jacket that was unfortunately loaned (by the owner's husband) to a friend who was a beginning skier. First trip to the slopes and she seriously broke her arm, and the jacket had to be cut off piecemeal by the ski patrol. The replacement that arrived recently is everything we hoped for, with even superior style. As, of course, the expense came out of the husband's account, all is well again on the domestic front..
