The color Poppy is a mix of both red and orange. If I had to choose I would say that it is more on the red side but it is definitely not a true red.

This jacket has 80g of insulation. This will keep you pretty warm in cold conditions. I always suggest layering up with thermals and a good mid-weight sweater.

The zipper is off-center by 1/2 inch to the left plus the brass-finish buttons on the right completes the look of this jacket.

I would recommend a size 6 so that you have the extra room inside to layer as needed. The size 4 would be more restricted in the chest area.

The poppy color is more of an orange than a red. There is a hint of orange in the plaid in that pant, however it is mostly red. The jacket will match and would work perfectly for you if you like a ton of color. You can also pair the Obermeyer Malta Ski Pant with the Obermeyer Aiden Insulated Ski Jacket!

There are two interior pockets. The first is a smaller pocket next to the zipper on the right hand side. The second the a large mesh pocket on the left hand side.

great jacket!

I love this jacket! From the minute I saw it I knew it had to be mine. It's super warm and well-made. The poppy color is so unique... very bright but not a traditional red. Lots of functional pockets too.
