The Athena Petite measures 10.5 inches from the inseam at the crotch to the waist in both sizes.

I want a pair of stretch ski pants with insulation. Is this good enough in a stormy weather? How is this compared to the Malta Petite? Will there be discounts at the end of season for these pants?

The Malta pants would be the best choice for you since it has insulation, the Athena has a fleece lining but is not insulated.
