I bought these boots in black for my daughter, who is 20, and she wore them when she was home for Xmas break (and then took them back to school with her), and she said they were great. They certainly looked nice. They are a "waterproof" snow boot but they look almost chic -- considerably less frumpy than most snow boots. I would love to buy a pair for myself. She tried them on at Lord & Taylor in a size 9 (it was that store's last pair), which is her customary size, but they were a little tight, so we ordered a 10 from Peter Glenn and they seem to be just right. I had never done business before with Peter Glenn (we are from the Midwest so they have no presence here), and they came through very nicely -- they sent the boots out right away, and they were well packaged, etc. I paid for expedited shipping (because my daughter was leaving for school), and UPS sort of screwed up by delivering the boots a day late, but it was still before she left home, so it was OK. I would definitely do business again with Peter Glenn if they have what I need.
