"There is not a difference in technology between the two. They have all of the same features. The pant is the larger amount is this seasons pant so that is why is it regular price. The less expensive pant is from the 2010 Season. This is such a fantastic pant that The North Face makes it year after year. It would be a timeless addition to any Winter wardrobe!"

Amazingly warm and comfortable. Use heavyweight long underwear for sub zero ski days. Warm sunny spring days, use light silk weight underwear. Comes in short length, so I have both black and brown colors. Very flattering fit.
